1 Peter 5:8-10. Especially verse 8. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking WHOM he may devour. RESIST HIM!!!
Think of the enemy like a lion.
The enemy is a strong adversary, he looks around for people who are alone because they are easier to attack and tear down and devour. Just like lions in the wild do. Donʼt be alone, have a tribe you can belong to!
If you want victory you have to get with a bunch of other people to make it harder for him to whisper those lies he uses and he tryʼs to bite you with his words of attack.
He lets us self destruct.
His mission is to steal, kill and destroy.
I looked up how lions hunt.
1) They hunt in the cover of darkness just like the enemy.
2) They stalk their prey for hours.
3) They detect their prey through hearing. This is why itʼs so important that we speak only words of life. The enemy is close by waiting to hear what we say so he can use our own words against us.
4) Once a Lion subdues its prey, it feasts. Usually on the middle section of the body. This is why we feel so much stress and anxiety when we are attacked.
I donʼt feel like we have to be one of these who are devoured. We were taught the kingdom keys. We just need strength!! The joy of the Lord is our strength!
Satan tries to be everything that God is. But he is always a counterfeit. In this instance, he is a counterfeit lion of Judah. He wants to be the real thing but heʼs nothing. He is under our feet!! We have the blood of the lamb!!!
We donʼt have to be one of the “WHOM” he may devour, we have the authority that was given to us by Jesus through His sacrifice on the cross.
Don’t fall for the lies anymore!
