Is Your Love Loud

I had my iPad on shuffle the other day and I heard this song by the David Crowder Band called “Our Love is Loud.”  My brain immediately started thinking (as it often does) and I began to imagine what loud love sounds like. More accurately what loud love looks and feels like.

Have you ever thought about the level of your love?

The chorus says “Our love is big, our love is loud, fill this place with this love now…”

If Crowder is talking about the room I’m in right now, as I write this blog. It would take a lot of love to fill this place.  Probably more love then I could ever hope to bring on my own.  So I started asking God to help me understand how to increase my love level.  I want to be so full of the love of Christ I can actually shift the love level of the room I enter!

So God began showing me more about love.  He has been revealing how much He truly loves me in everything I read and do. If I will let Him, He will completely change my life.

If you read the “Love” chapter in 1 Corinthians 13, you can learn more about love. The best example of love is what Jesus did for us when He gave His life to save ours.  “Greater love hath no man than to lay down His life for His friends” John 15:13.

Did you realize a person actually suffered unimaginable things so you could live with love?  Seems a shame to walk around despair. Sounding like a clashing, clanging symbol! No one likes that. The bible says, without love, that’s all you are.
