When I’m sinking in the water,
And I feel the overwhelming sea.
Its when you always throw a lifeline,
And it’s there to rescue me.
I’m not sure just how I got here,
Or how I got this bitter pill.
I just know I need a lifeline,
My heart is broken still.
Won’t you save me from the madness?
Can you help me find the calm?
Have you seen a lifeline,
That helps me carry on?
I am not sure how I’ll keep going,
If I keep on at this pace.
I need my steady lifeline,
If I am sure to win this race.
I am asking you to save me,
From the storm I’m walking through.
Will you be my lifeline?
Get me on the path to you.
