Why do you use words of evil and hate. 

And always push to discriminate? 

Why did you think I said that word,

You’re mistaken that’s not what you heard.

Why are you walking with lonely eyes,

Does no one else hear your painful cries?

Who is that boy with the lipstick red,

Was she born that way like Lady Gaga said?

Why are we fighting every single day,

No more words of love pass this way.

Why are we killers of little babies, 

Yet we cry out against animals and they might have rabies. 

Why do we support democracy, 

Until our party loses then its lunacy. 

Why are these kids afraid to face life,

Did their parents forget to teach about strife?

Why are some Christians so hateful and mean, 

Jesus taught about love, forgiveness and things. 

Why won’t people give church a chance?

Have we ruined the option for a second glance?
