Life is a highway,
I heard a song say.
As I walked passed the store,
The words urged me to stay.
If life is a highway,
Who’s driving my car?
Did they fill up with gas?
Will we get very far?
Will my tires need rotating?
Will my oil be ok?
Will it be something I need?
As I am driving today?
Will the engine run smoothly,
I’ve just got to know.
If life is a highway,
Where’s my cruise control?
