My friend Traci and I were talking about Fire, every person has something inside of them that carries their passion. It drives them to do what they do. Sometimes we help others burn a little brighter, other times we may need someone else to fan our flame. We all have a fire. We all have a purpose. Don’t ever let your fire dim.

Traci and I decided to write a poem together as a fun writing experience. I recommend it, it is fun to collaborate with other writers. We sent the poem back and forth each taking a stanza until we completed it. I hope you enjoy our creation.

The fire in me, 

Burns bright for all.

I want the world to see 

So that no one will fall. 

If falling is what,

you seem to do.

Please remember,

your fire burns too. 

Others are here 

When you’re burning low. 

Don’t worry or fear,

If your heart beats slow.  

Just take my hand,

and follow my lead.

You’ll see the spark in you,

ignites with me.

As your heart beats again,

Your flame burns higher. 

Don’t ever doubt yourself,

Because you are the Fire!
