Who do you spend the most time with?

Should I say my books? I am always reading something new. I prefer to grab a book and capture the essence of what the writer has to say. Books don’t hurt me. They never leave. I’m taken to magical places and I can meet as many people as I wish.

If I want to slay dragons, see unicorns or walk with fairies, I grab a bestseller. My books can create the space for my imagination to soar.

Shakespeare can hold my attention for hours. Perhaps it’s the story or it could be the Elizabethan English I’m trying to decipher.

I read a book today that dared me to imagine my future bigger and better because I alone limit myself.

One of my favorite books to read is the Bible. I don’t have to use my imagination when I read it. The stories are very real and captivating. The hope these stories provide cause me to realize my worth. One man in particular named Jesus really has my attention. I want to learn all I can about him.
