My name is Marsha L. Brown. My Husband Bradd and I live in Piedmont, Oklahoma, where we enjoy our life in the country.

We have six children. Nick, Kaylyn, Krystyn, Kayla, Justin, Joey, and another I call my own, Chantae. They are grown children, but we love any chance we get to see them. Over the last seven years, we have added many grandchildren, including Parker, Luna, Addi, Adley, Hudson, Allie Jean, Harper, Townes, and Carter. I love my family and want to impart an extraordinary life of love to our children in everything I do.

My hobbies are not just pastimes; they are my passions. I find joy in music, poetry, reading, and writing about anything that comes to mind. These activities and my love for travel, entertaining, and spending time with my friends and family bring me immense happiness and fulfillment.

I have always served in some capacity at my church, leading worship, singing with the choir, greeting people, teaching a class of children or adults, or doing administrative tasks. Loving people like Jesus did is my number one goal in life. I hope that no matter which area I serve, I don’t forget the valuable lesson that “people matter.” I love my church, and I love the people I am serving with at Bethel Community Church in Yukon, Oklahoma.

I graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies and Gerontology. Family is very important to me, especially knowing how to care for people as they age.

I graduate in May of 2025 with a Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies from Oklahoma Christian University. If a person has a question about the Bible or another theological dynamic they want to unpack, I’m probably in the middle, wanting to hear their thoughts and beliefs. Talking about the Bible is one of my favorite things to do. I don’t claim to know everything. I just want to talk about it all.

I graduated from Pinnacle School of Ministry in 2004, when I received my certificate for ordination. I served as the worship pastor and administrator at a church in Bethany, Oklahoma, for eight years and have also served as the worship pastor at other local churches for multiple time frames. My four years as the executive assistant for Stewardship Ministries at IPHC Resource Development Center brought numerous opportunities to network with many people.

In 2025, I started volunteering as a crisis counselor with Crisis Text Line to help provide mental support to people facing various crises. I wanted to do this in partnership with my future goals, as I am getting my M.S.H.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy to complete my educational pursuits.

I’ve done many different things in my life, and tying my educational pursuits all together boils down to one main goal for me. If we do not learn to care for each other according to the simple words, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” then we have failed everything else the Bible stands for. This fact applies to everyone, not just those we want to love.

I own my own publishing company, Lookout House Publishing. You can check out the books by clicking the link or directly from Amazon. Getting my children’s books published was a huge goal of mine in 2024! I am working on several more, which will be coming out soon.

As a certified creative Christian writer, I have served as an editor and co-editor for Experience Magazine, a National magazine. I have also published several articles and two children’s books.

My husband and I love to make music together, and we enjoy our two puppies, Sadie and Jake. Sadie is my Golden Doodle, and Jake is Bradd’s Malti-Poo! We do everything together.
