There once was a princess
happy and fair
with flecks of sunlight
in her hair
depending upon the season
In her room each and every night
she’d say a prayer
before the morning light
I know he’s there
She was longing for Prince Charming
She’d sing her song
From the highest tower
My Prince will come
Could it be this hour
She was growing impatient
So she took a walk
down the lofty trail
I’ll go look for him
He must be lost somewhere
At least that’s what she told herself
The first guy she meets
What a princely chap
Love at first sight
What a load of crap
He was a wolf in sheep’s clothing
But our princess fair
was a lovely girl
so she decided to give
those I do vows a whirl
She married the wolf
Several years later
with several kids too
Princess happy and fair
feels so sad and blue
Remember the wolf
To the Queen Therapists house
our princess dragged love
she begged and she pleaded
even asked God above
She needed a miracle
With the tears of his girl
and the words from a shrink
the wolf of a husband
decided to think
He knew he better shape up
So he gave love a chance
started loving his bride
and as miracles happen
She stayed by his side
And they lived happily ever after
