My dream is to be a writer,
Sharing what I know.
Giving life to words on page,
Telling tales where I go.
I may not have the answers,
To everything you ask.
But I will share what I can,
And sometimes remove my mask.
If my dream job brings you pleasure,
That will bring me smiles.
I hope you take the time to read,
And stay with me a while.
I spend my time on paper,
I spend my time with pen.
I use my fair computer.
And now I let you in.

What’s your dream job?

One response to “My Dream Job…”
Marsha, your poem beautifully captures the essence of your dream to be a writer. The heartfelt expression of sharing knowledge and stories through words is truly inspiring. It’s admirable how you acknowledge not having all the answers yet remain committed to sharing your insights and experiences. Your willingness to be vulnerable, to “sometimes remove my mask,” adds a deeply personal touch to your writing, inviting readers to connect with your journey. The joy and fulfillment you find in writing, and your hope to bring smiles to your readers, shine through in every line. Keep pursuing your passion for writing with this wonderful blend of honesty, creativity, and warmth. Your words are not just written; they speak!
